Where does PTA Exports get its UK import and export data?
From the official HMRC UK Trade Info dataset of customs declarations, refreshed by our pipeline every 24 hours. HMRC publishes trader-level detail for non-EU trade, monthly, roughly two months in arrears.
How often is the data updated?
Our pipeline checks for new HMRC releases every night at 03:00. New months appear the moment HMRC publishes them; every page shows the exact snapshot it was built from.
How are the 3-month forecasts calculated?
Each forecast is modelled from 24 months of monthly declaration counts using seasonal trend analysis. Forecasts are estimates produced by PTA Exports, not HMRC figures.
